Hi

How can you save a report in an earlier format using Crystal Reports 2008? Is it possible?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Have you made upgrade from a previous software version of Crystal or directly to Crystal 2008?
If is un upgrade open the rpt file in previous crystal version and save. In the cases i have done this, i didn't lost any option of the report with the "downgrade".

Thanks, mate!

The thing is I don't have an earlier version of CR, just CR 2008 and files of earlier formats that I want to change, but keep in the same format.

Hi,

I don't think you can do that, if you save the report it wil save in CR2008 format and can stop working in some aplications.
