Hi,

I've created a query and I want to display its data in three different tables.

One table contains details, the other tables show more aggregated results. The data of all three different views / tables should come from the same query. I don't want to use cross tabs, I want to use basic functionality such as Group Headers etc.

The question is: how do you do this? I've considered creating a subreport yet this forces me to create the same query again and this shouldn't be necessary since the query already contains all the required data. There must be an easier way..

I'm using Crystal reports version 14.1.4.1327

TIA!

Why are you excluding the most obvious answer of the cross-tab?
IMO Where you are heading with your limitations is 3 sub reports or one report run 3 times with run time parameters that define an the way the report will be organized.
Why not a crosstab?
Why not use drill down with the report defaulting to details hidden?
If we understand your objections to these it may help to understand your larger goal.
