The report in question has 8 subreports.  Here are the particulars:

* Dev Environment   - VB 2005/C#
* Datasource            - SQL Server 2005
* Converted from CR 8.5 (or possibly an earlier CR version) to CR 11
* 6 sub reports get data from a view
* 2 sub reports get data from a stored procedure

We are taking a huge FoxPro app. to VB 2005. The report is ok and works fairly well with smaller clients - say 150 employees but the real problem comes in with very large clients; 1100+ employees. The report will load ok regardless of the client size, but for large clients with lots of data when the "go to last page" button is clicked the report just sits there with the hour glass showing and gives no indications whether there is a problem or if it is still creating the report or what! I timed it this evening for 19 minutes till I gave up.

Is there a way to "see" what is going on behind the scenes after the "go to last page" button is clicked.

Are there any performance considerations that I should be aware of concerning subreports. I have already Googled and have seen some things to be aware of but I hope that there is better advice than "this is how CR works, sub reports are just slow."

Thanks a bunch, I hope I have given enough information!
