Has anyone run into this problem and solved it before? The toolbar on my CrystalReportViewer object is showing artifacts from any window that appears in front if it.

I've never encountered that before. Does it happen all the time? I've seen other Windows programs do it when my memory goes to hell. But after rebooting everything goes back to normal.

I've just rebooted and it's still happening all the time, for both debug and release. And it's only hapenning to the toolbar portion of the cr viewer.

Well, this is a new one on me. I would try reinstalling CR. Maybe the toolbar DLL got corrupted? Plus, if this just started happening, is there something that was installed recently that might have triggered it?

I found the problem -- I had my toolbar running on a DevExpress XtraTabControl instead of a System.Windows.Forms.TabControl. I'm not sure why the DevEx tab control woul conflict with the crystal toolbar, but moving to the standard windows tab control fixed the issue.
