My book, "Crystal Reports .NET Programming" was written for VB.NET 2003. I' have people email and say that they use it for VS.NET 2005 and most of it worked well. If you are already an experienced programmer, you can probably get around the upgrade differences pretty well. But it's your call since I don't have the 2005 update out yet. Sorry.

Sorry, but the books are for sale at bookstores and on Amazon.com. If I gave them away for free, I would quickly lose my motivation for spending over a year researching and writing each one.

I have many chapters from my CR XI book online for free. I just started working on the .NET 2005 book last week. So nothing is online yet....

Thanks. Yeah, I had a rough draft online about four years ago. When the book was published I only left up a couple chapters. I'm 'experimenting' with the new book to see if I can keep up a lot more chapters and still have people buy the paperback version. I'm going to give it a couple months and see how sales go before deciding what to do with them. So far sales have been disappointingly slow, but I think that will probably change once someone (hopefully) posts a review or two on Amazon and lets people know that the new book is good quality. Without good reviews, sales are always dismal.
