This is regarding Crystal Report not working in case of Crystal Report XI and SQL Server 2005 on Java platform.

 

In our project we have used Crystal Report Java API to process reports. We support DB2,Oracle and SQL Server database. Report in which we are facing problem is having main report and one sub report. Both main and sub report has separate SQL queries which are processed programmatically to generate resultSet and using Crystal Java API we pass this result set to generate report.

Same report works fine(without any code change) with Crystal Report XI and Oracle/DB2 configuration. Also Same report works on Crystal Report X and IX with SQL Server 2005.

 

Following is the code which is throwing exception:
clientDoc.getSubreportController().setDataSource(subReportName, resultSet,subReportTableName,IConstants.OLD_REPORT_NAME);

 

Follwoing Exception is thrown by setDataSource():
