	I think that you are asking if you can use a field that is defined in the main report in a subreport, even though it is not in subreport's data schema. No, and not vice versa either. Each report is basically a separate entity and no cross over exists, except for shared variables. You can design report and then at some later in time make it a subreport, so reports and subreports are completely separate from each other. At least this is my belief
