There are two ways of doing parameters in Oracle - :param_name and ¶m_name. I usually use the ':' version.
However, in Crystal (at least in XI and above, I'm not sure about 10) you don't actually do the parameters in the syntax of the database you're using. You use Crystal syntax - {?param_name} and Crystal replaces the parameter reference with the actual value before it runs the SQL.
