I am using CR 8.5

 

I have a report that is trying to display debit and credit balances based on one field (account)

 

debit is calculated as:

if IsNull({Table1.account}) or {Table1.account} < 0 then 0.00 else {Table1.account}

 

Credit calculated as:

if IsNull({Table1.account}) or {Table1.account} > 0 then 0.00 else {Table1.account}

 

Having 2 people p1 and p2, if p1 and p2 accounts are both negative values, the report does not display any balances.

 

if one of the people has account as positive value and the other has a negative value, the report display just fine

 

if both have positive value for account, the report is also displayed just fine.
