Formula
IF {WRNMST.RNLDRF}<> " "
Then 'A'
ELSE 'B' 
 
Two linked tables, left outer join / Not enforced / Link type =
{WRNMST.RNLDRF} is in the second table.
 
Error, for items where there is no match in the second table, there is no formula result.
 
This has probably something to do with the link options ?

Is the {WRNMST.RNLDRF} field coming from the table that has the lesser row count? If so you need to tell it what to do with NULL values
If isnull({WRNMST.RNLDRF}) or {WRNMST.RNLDRF}= ""
then 'B'
else 'A'
