greetings!

how can i dispLay the records in the crystaL report from database? the situation is that, there is a specific no. of fieLds but there are many records. these records came from the time monitoring, inputted by the employees. the time monitoring was developed in visual basic software.

for example:


in visual basic, i have this:
i have a tab w/c contains the following info...
in the college tab, i have the fields namely:employee no., name of school etch...
the case is, if the employee add info. to the fields, the info will be save to database...

my problem is how can i get the info. from the database t6hat was inputted by employee in the visual basic????

anyone pLz heLp me!!
this is urgent!

Since this is all that Crystal does, I would open a new report and follow one of the wizards (I haven't used them in years).  The 'biggest' piece of info you will need is how are you going to connect the database.  You can have your app supply the data to the report directly, you can have the app set parameters in a report and have the report retrieve the data.  You can build a stand alone report which connects to the DB and retrieves the data.  If report is retrieving the data, you will need to tell it how to do that.  I have used ODBC in the past, and you will need to create an ODBC connection to your DB, then tell CR to use it, after that it is pretty much drag and drop.
