hi everyone,im just starting to learn Crystal Reports 10 Sage and i need to do something, can anyone help me?

Does anyone know how i can make the formula that when a certain record in a field changes its value it will make a new page?

sample is like this:

here's the table:
id_num               detail_num             Name
1                           12                          Manny Pacquiao
1                           12                          Oscar Dela Hoya
1                           12                          Floyd Mayweather
1                           13                          Juan Manuel Enriquez
1                           13                          Hatton

with that table data...
the only sql query i can use is,
select Name,detail_num from table_name where id_num='1'

the query will show all of the results in a single page, what i need to do is when the detail_num data is not the same as the above data it will be printed on a new page...can this be done?thanks in advance

Hi

What you can do in crystal is Group By detail_num ,once done go to report menu section expert then select Group Footer then in Common Tab Check the box New Page After Click X+2 next to it and enter the code below

Not OnLastrecord

Cheers

sorry for the late reply man,did not get to use a PC for 2 days, anyway thanks for the answer, the method you said worked to create a new page but something is still missing, you see the original page has some templates in which the result are in,an example is like this

The winner against "data" is "data"

now when i do the method you said it does create a new page but the templates on show on the last page...is there a work around for this?thanks again...

its placed on the Report Footer by the way..
