Hello.. everyone..
i'm a new member...
erm.. i'm now developin' for sub report.
In this sub report, i need to put a formula field.
But..,, i also have to show the total field of this formula field.
Now, i dun no how to get the summary of Formula field i'v put in the sub report.
Pls... if u have the solution.. .. pls reply me.. ASAP.

it depends what you want to do with the summary field - if you just need to see the total then you could just place it in the sub report group footer so it comes through on the main report!

You're likely going to have to pass parameters in and out of the subreport to get the total.

So in the main report, create new formulas

shared numbervar PassedAmt:=0     <- put this in the group header above the subreport

Shared numbervar TotalAmt:=Shared numbervar TotalAmt+
shared numbervar PassedAmt  <- put in same section of subreport


shared numbervar totalAmt:  <- put in footer after subreport

Then, within subreport, add
shared numbervar PassedAmt:=results of your formula

Which will pass it out to the main report.
