Topic: Print group header on each page Posted: 19 Jun 2008 at 2:24am
Hello,
Using Crystal Reports 10.
I'm trying to get the date (like june 1st 2008) above each and every page of my report. This date is in a group header. For technical reasons i cannot put the date in Page header or Report header, so i must use group header.
Usually all my information for one day needs only one page so there is no problem, i get a new date on each page.
But sometimes the information of one day is spread out over 2 pages. I want the date (group header) also above page 2 of this same day.
So i click on "Change group" > Options tab > and choose "Repeat Groupheader on each page". But this does not work. I think it doesn't work because in "Change group" > Common tab there is this sentence: The section will be printed on any change of: GroupField X.
So the section will only be printed on every new date. So if i need two pages for one day, the date doesn't print on page two, no matter if i activate "Repeat Group header on each page" or not.
Sorry i need so many words to explain my problem, i hope you understand my problem and can help me with this.

"This section will be printed on any change of: GroupField X" is standard and I have no problems getting repeated group headers to appear on every page with it.
Have you checked the Section Expert for the Group Header section? Make sure there is no formula for Suppress. I suspect that you may have "InRepeatedGroupHeader" in there.
