Where can a parameter be used that prevents me deleting a parameter? I've looked everywhere. The parameter has the green tick next to it. I'm using this as a template for it, and have to get rid of lots of stuff

Layout
Formulas - scrubbed loads of them
No groups here
All I can see is a sub-report here. It wouldn't hold me back from deleting the parameter until it's run, will it? This is design phase

Can I force to remove the parameter, without the warning message?

Thanks

Can I use the dependency checker for this? I've just seen it, but no idea how to check for this parameter, and where it's used...

If the parameter is used in the report or subreports through the subreport linking option it cannot be deleted until it has been removed from the report itself.

Try changing the parameter type

i.e. if the parameter type is a string change it to a number

and then run the report. This will usually trigger an error message and show you the place where it is being used.

Possible places to look
* formulas
* section expert
* record selection
* subreport linking

Hope this helps.

one  more way is select the paramater and right click and select the option "find in formulas" may be it may be used in some formulas or it may be  in report and is in supressed form. if u have subreport check wheter u r using  for linking any report. u have to search in running total fields also.
Thanks
