Hi,
Using CR 9. I have a problem with loosing formatting .

It occurs for example in such a situation.
1. Groupping records on field of type date.
2. Applying long format on that field, so that each group name have nice name.
3. Adding to group name a text object with text "Date of order "
4. Insering formatted group name to that field "Date of order {1Group #1 Name}"
5. Format of date is lost.

I know i can leave that field outside and not insert it... but my question is if described situation is an error? Is there a way to format field inserted to text object.
My other question is, if there is a way to "take out"  such a filed from text object.

Thank's for replying

Inside the text object, select the group name and right click.  You'll have two format options - one for the text object and one for the group name - select the one for the group name.  You can then apply the date format to is as you would like.
