I created a crosstab that displays a running total of records found per month and time classification. In the crosstab running total summary there is 0 values as per attachment.
What I need is for the running total to replace the 0 values with the previous running total summary. See attachment please.
Image 01
     Jan 2015Feb 2015
01 Hrs     138     1046
02 Hrs     147     1153
03 Hrs     151     1173
04 Hrs     153     1185
08 Hrs     0     1188
16 Hrs     0     1192
16+ Hrs     0     0
Total     153     1192

01 Hrs     138     1046
02 Hrs     147     1153
03 Hrs     151     1173
04 Hrs     153     1185
08 Hrs     153     1188
16 Hrs     153     1192
16+ Hrs     153     1192
Total     153     1192

I would be grateful for any assistance.
Thank you,
Liane

is this really a running total or shared variables?
are you running into NULL values?
IS your evaluate formula set to 'use default values for nulls'?

Hello DBlank,
Image 01 is an actual display of a real running total I created that work perfectly when added as a summary to my crosstab. Image 02 shows what should happen when the running total encounters a 0 in its calculation e.g. the 04 Hours - Jan 2015 cell entry contains 153, but the the 08 and 16 Hours cell entry contains 0 (as per image 01). When the running total hits a 0 summary it must take the previous calculation e.g. 04 hours and add that to the current field value. The data contains no null values.
I am not sure what you mean by the evaluate formula, but if you mean the format field number value of the running total summary in the crosstab, then it is set to "show default values as" a 0.

Thanks
Liane
