Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing troubles with Crystal repeatedly crashing?

I'm running XI on Windows 8 via Chrome and it happens almost every time I try to Hide or Suppress a section.

I have not tried running XI on Windows 8. Is there a compatibility mode on Windows 8? we are up to Windows 7, XI works on Win 7 okay.

I wouldn't know how to check, to be honest.
Thanks!

I am not sure how you are running XI via Chrome.  I am used to Crystal Reports just running from the computer I am on.  Maybe somebody else knows about this.

duh - you are correct of course. Chrome has diddly squat to do with it.
However, I put it on my computer BECAUSE it kept crashing on Chrome - it was a hosted instance of the tool and just wouldn't perform correctly in that rarified air.
I have found if I don't right-click to suppress or hide a section - if I use the section expert instead - it doesn't crash.
yay
Thanks!

Not sure why that would matter unless some resource is either being used up or there is a corrupt .dll.  Glad you found a work around.
