As the Subject suggests, I am wondering if it is possible and how to suppress sections based on the presence of a file that may or may not be present?

The file would be located in the same folder as the .rpt file, so something like .\SuppressionFile.txt

I need to suppress certain sections if that file is present and let them print if it is not.

Any replies are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

I don't think that Crystal has anything built in to look for a file. If an application was driving the report, it could look for the file and then pass the boolean as a parameter to Crystal.

again, I don't think such functionality is native to CR
