I have a single demographic data table with SSN and typical other data such as name, street, phone, etc.
 
I would like to loop through the table, identifying any duplicates ( 2 or more) on SSN, and then only list out the demographic data for the duplicates.  In other words, I don' t want to list any data where there is no duplicate on ssn.
 
What is the best design for this?

either join the table to an alias of itself on SSN and the PK<> PK

 
or in crystal group on SSN and do a count on SSN at the group and then do a group select where count(SSN,SSN)>1
