Hi,

I have the folloiwng data.

Table 1 data from a new system

Table 2 data from a legacy system

Table 1 data grouped by item num and qty sum by item no

Item no    Locat           qty on hand

123           x1                     5
123           x2                     6
       Total                         11

124            y1                     8
124            y2                     2
       Total                           10
Table 2 Legacy Data

Item no       qty on hand
123                    5
124                   10

I want to compare the totals for an item from table 1 with the qty on hand from table 2 and filter only items with variance not equal to "0".

I am getting a message "the formula can not be used because it must be evaluated later".

Is there any work around for this like while printing records @variance<> 0

Can someone help.

I got a solution for this. just include the variance formula in the Group select and use <> 0.
