Is it possible to apply a different color to an alert message?

The formula below is wrong, but is an example of what I'm looking to do. This would be done in the formula editor next to the "Alert Message Name"

If IsAlertEnabled("Alert Message Name") Then ("Alert Message Name") =crred

The best way probably would be to set the color of font in the formula's format dialog box (drop formula on the sheet, right click on the formula, select Format Field).

I rarely use alerts so I could be wrong but mtc...
If this is a true alert and you want to change the font in the alert pop up box I don't think you can.
The Formula option for the message is more to return dynamic text based on report data.
I think the IaAlertEnabled() function is more about referencing the alert in another formula which would not impact the actual alert itself.
I am not sure why you need to change the font. The fact that the alert is triggered should be enough of a cue to the user? Perhaps if you explain your report criteria there is another solution?

Thank you for your replies. The alert is a first for me. I was attempting to change the color to red. This would be like the ole red flag. When a user is missing information, rather than email me each time, the alert tells them why the data is missing and who to contact to correct the issue.

I think the idea with an alert is that the fact that the alert is triggered and pops up is more 'in your face' than any color scheme.
If it pops up everytime you run the report it will likely lose its efficacy and people will just ignore it.
You can use the trigger formula so it only pops up under specific conditions and you can dynamically set the text of the alert (say to the name to the person that need to contact) using the formula field for the text.
This also can be done as dynamic forumla placed in a report header that is conditionally displayed that might be easier to read or gives more specific information that would not fit in an alert.
I have set some reports to hide all the data except for a prompt indicating that the content is void for x reason and follow steps 1,2,3 to correct the issue.
