Topic: New Pages - different data
Posted: 21 Jan 2014 at 5:20am
Hi,
I am writing a report that when it reaches say 30 records then moves to another page. I want the report as follows
On Page 1
Street
Town
Street
Street
On Page 2 etc
Street
Town
Street
Street
I have said in crystal reports when records equal 30 then new page but I sometimes get
On Page 1
Street
Town
Street
Street
On Page 2 etc
Street
Street
Street
Only say 3 records on page 2 then Page 3 as usual
Street
Town
Street
What is the best way to code this or how can this be done?

what are you defining as a record and how did you use that definition in your new page after formula?
are you suppressing records and are those being excluded from your record count?

Thanks for getting back.
If it is a new page then the town will appear after the street.
If it is a new street then the town will be be displayed so this can appear on the same page.
An example would be as follows
Page 1
High Street
Manchester
High Street
High Street
Main Street
Leeds
Main Street
Main Street
Page 2
Main Street
Leeds
Main Street
I am getting the records from an view from a database connection.
Hope this helps.
