We are wanting to save a report so that when the end user runs the report it automatically runs and outputs Excel format.
We are now using Crystal Reports 2008, we called Business Objects and were told that 2008 doesn't allow you to save a report to default run in Excel mode. The only way to do this is to schedule the report first, then you can have it default run in Excel mode.

When we had Crystal Reports V 10.5 you could default the report in designer to automatically default run in Excel.

Any suggestions on this?
