Hi All,

I have a crystal report which is being used in PDA's as input forms. i.e. users use these forms to enter some information and the data gets stored in the database.

I have a request saying, is it possible to make fields mandatory in the report, so that the user entering the data through imput forms does not skip this mandatory field?

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Omprakash

Hi

Usually users will enter data through parameters if a user needs to select data which is already exists then you can use dynamic parameters other wise use Static parameters.

If you are using Static parameters then edit the parameter and go in Value Options and select Min Length as 1.  So, it will not allow the user to skip without even entering single character.
Thanks,
