Got a report problem...wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction.

I have 4 view tables.

Table 1 contains customer data such as name/contact info/status
Table 2 contains air shipment data
Table 3 contains ocean shipment data
Table 4 containers truck shipment data

All four tables have the customer's name.

What I'm trying to do is create a single report that shows me the last transaction for that client, regardless if it was air, ocean, or truck. Want to avoid needing to create one report for air, one for ocean, and one for truck. Anybody have a good idea on how to approach this?

table 1 is the main table, left join the other 3 tables.
now you can get the max of each associated table.

I would have to play, but my first thought is to make 3 group footer sections (1 for each type of record) and conditionally suppress the 2 that don't have the most recent date.
