Good Morning,
I have a report that has a duration field and is a numeric field on the report, However the Database got changed { Don't ask }and now when the report is run it wants field mapping.
some one said create a formula like this

If NumericText (String Field) Then ToNumber (String Field) Else 0

Where in the Heck would i put it  ?

I would have thought that the change in the data CR would ask for a mapping...looks like a screen with 4 windows on it that look like your data.
 
I usually have to remove the checkmark about only displaying fields of the same type, then I can select in the upper boxes the 2 fields that are the 'same' either because of a type change or a name change.
 
CR is just trying to figure out where the 'new' data field that it sees fits into the schema that the report was designed for.
 
Hope this make sense
 
ps the formula would probably be in any comparison or use of the field in the report for summing.
