	I have an employee table with a unique employee id that i need to get the last action date from an employee action table that has five action dates. How do I get the last action date created for this employee? Appreciate any help one could provide thx

	was max({emp action date}) not working? I would group the report by employee, then create a max Running Total on the date or datetime field related to the EMP ACTION DATE. Then just plop the running total on the report. Just make sure you have the correct info. Evaluate for each record and reset on change of group.
