Hi guys,

I imported values from a subreport to the main report via a shared variable. The issue that arises is that the imported values seem to skip a data record and hence the value displayed for record 2 is the value intended for record 1, for record 3, the value intended for record 2 and so on.. Record 1 has the value 0. The parameters from both the main report and sub-report do not match but i"m guessing this is not a problem. The sub-report preview displays the correct details.

What could i be doing wrong?

thanks for your help..

when passing a variable back the variable has to be placed ina section below where the report is run from. Eg. if you put a sub report in details you have to return the shared variable back into the main report onto detailsB (or a footer).

you can use underlay section to make it look like it is on the same 'row'
