Our company recently updated from Crystal 8 to Crystal 2008. I uninstalled Crystal 8 and then installed 2008 w/ SP5. The program opens with no issues, you can edit, create, etc. However if you go to the Database Expert and into the links section, nothing shows up. Where the tables would normally show is blank. This is the case for existing reports from Crystal 8 and new reports created in 2008.

Through some test on one of our Virtual Machines I have verified the issue comes from having Crystal 8 installed previously and then installing 2008. If I just install 2008 on a fresh VM I have no issue.

Has anyone come across this before and have any suggestions on how we might be able to fix this?
