I have a reports with 3 sub reports. I have to add chart to compare data from the all reports. They are standard ones. It has a column title Description and the name of each month of the year, data amounts given as a credits.
How is the best way to do that?
Thanks

To create chart in main report based on sub report results,
Approach 1: use same tables needed for chart and do calculations using formulas/ running totals to get data amounts, etc. (like complete different report. if it is not possible or performance issue, try the other)

Approach 2: create shared variable in sub-report and call that variable in to main report, where you creating chart, but I guess there are some restrictions for this to work, like shared variable(sub report) should be placed above the chart section.
   in sub-report create: WhilePrintingRecords;
                              Shared NUMBERVar AMOUNT := formula (or field)
   in Main-report Call: WhilePrintingRecords;
                              Shared NUMBERVar AMOUNT;
                               AMOUNT
