I have a report that needs to look fantastic. It is an events calendar, where each event is a record in the main report, each having different combinations of pertinent subreports (sponsor, hosts, speakers, facilitators etc), with much variation in the size of subreports.
What I seek is to be able to split a main report record over the page (including the subreport content) only if it is sufficiently large, and avoid splitting over the page if the result of splitting would be only one or two lines on the bottom of one page or top of the next. Can all this be achieved in Crystal Reports?? I sorely seek to know..
A world of unexamined lives is a waste of a world!

HI

Since the content is dynamic we can't split or keep together with previous page or next page.

Try with Keep Together function through Section Expert, also if your text is placed in Group then go in Change Group--Options-- Keep Group Toget option.
Also right click on sub report and go in Format sub report--Common tab-- Keep Object together option.

Also you can play around by inserting new page before or after conditionally. ie. counting lines and if the count is > or < then you can insert a new page.

Thanks,
Sastry
