Hello,

We have reports for a chain of restaurants that display speed of service for each business day which is taken from a database created by our kitchen automation software.

The issue is that several of the restaurants now operate until 4am on Friday and Saturday - now making the business hours 6am - 4am, rather than the traditional 7am - 11:30pm.

This is causing a whole lot of issues as the reports simply assume that any data from 4am on that day belongs to that day rather than the previous day (if that makes sense).

I've never had training, and have little experience in Crystal Reports, but from looking at the group expert, it is grouped by @hourminutesecond using a specified order of 6am - 8am, 9am - 11am, 12pm - 2pm etc etc all the way up to 4am.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

Thank you.

Hi

When you say @hourminutesecond, this is refering a formula.  Please expend Formula fields and look for the above formula and try to past.  This will help any one to understand your group .

Thanks,
Sastry

HourMinuteSecond is "Time({SpeedOfService.Timestamp})"
Its the time stamp taken from the datetime column in the database which outputs as this "2012-05-20 07:02:16.000" if a select query were to be run on the database.

Also forgot to mention that this report is generated daily at 4am.
So will "{@Date} = (DateAdd ("h", -22, currentdate)) to currentdate" work?
