I am trying to write a report that will show me all parts in inventory that have not been ordered since 2010.  In the record selection formula I want to select all records prior to (2010, 01 ,01) but not records after 2010, I have used the < operator but it gives me all records purchased before but also includes the ones we have also purchased after 2010 if we have purchased them for a while.  I need the report to show me only item we haven't purchased since 2010.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

do you want to do this in a command object or in the crystal select?

if it is in crystal you will have to use group select statement by grouping
on the parts number and using a group select satement of
maximum(orderdate,partnumber)<date(2010,1,1)
