Am hoping someone could assist with this. I have a report consisting of two sup reports. Each sub report has a limited detail length. Sub Report 1 prints at the top of the page and Sup Report 2 at bottom.

This works fine if my reports only have detail lines to fit on one page. As soon as there are detail lines pushing onto a second page the format goes out i.e. both sub reports print on top of each other at the top of the second and third pages.

Please help!

Place the two subreports in different sections.

eg Report Header A and Report Header B

This will allow the sub reports to grow as large as they need, then the second one will always follow it.

You can also turn the Keep object together off for the sub report if you want it to split over two pages.

Thanks! I have both the sub reports in different sections already with keep object together off.

It prints perfectly for the first page but the on the following pages both sub report 1 and 2 start printing from the top of th epage rather than sub 1 from the top and sub 2 from the middle of the page.

Any other ideas?

Hey,
i had a someone similar issue. Not positive if this will help you, but this helped me:

Be sure to turn off Keep Together, not only in the Section Expert, but also in the Sub Report Format Editor (right click sub report -> Edit sub report) There is also an option in there that allows the sub report to grown or not.

Hope it helps.

Oh no! We are printing page 1 perfectly and printing over to page 2 on both sub reports but both sub reports print on top of each other at the top of the second and third pages.
