I have a parameter prompt and would like to disable it showing the name of the report in the parameter field.

"n/n(g)/n(h)/n(i)/n(j)/n(k)" = names of sub reports and parameter fields. This is with three sub reports added after 50 this is going to be so long it's going to look hideous

Linking the sub reports gets rid of most of the report names but is extremely time consuming on 50 subreports.

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable it showing the report name completely? Also does anyone know if you can format the parameter prompt so you can pick a different background color or font size and color?

Thanks,
Shaun

No, there is no way to disable it unless you have all of your possible parameters in the main report and use the SubReport links to pass them to the subreports.  This way if any parameters are valid for multiple subreports, the user only has to enter them once.

As for changing the colors, if you're going to run the report using a web app, I think there's a Style Sheet (.css file) you can update.

FYI:

It doesn't look like you can change the parameter dialogue box.

I did find this though.
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-7655

It allows you to embed the parameter fields into the report it's self and allows for interactive drop boxes right in the report it's self without having to reload the report and re-enter parameters.
