Is it possible to export a Crystal Report to Excel, and have the Excel Report create a separate tab for each new page of the Crystal Report?

The report I want to Export has appx 32 pages. There is a new page per vendor. Can this be exported to Excel so that each of these pages in the Crystal Report will get assigned a new tab within one Excel Workbook?

Thanks!

There is a third party software that is supposed to do this.  We looked at one time.  I do not know if we purchased it.

You could do this without 3rd party software with an Excel solution.

Place some kind of field to indicate the start and end of each page in your Crystal report, put this in a column where there's no other fields - you could even work this so it will name each tab whatever you want (a crystal groupname for instance).

Create a macro that loops through each row in Excel searching for the "New Page" "End page" flags in the relevant column and then copy/pastes that data into a new tab.

Not really the place to discuss Excel/Macros but if you're not familiar with them I can assist you further.

Regards,
Ryan.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind as a possible solution.
