Is there an obvious reason why a stored procedure runs sometimes 3X slower on Crystal Server than on SQL Server?
We can execute a 3-minute stored procedure on SQL Server that takes upwards of 10 minutes to just gain access to create a new Crystal Server report.
It progressively takes longer to run from SQL Server (3 mins) to Crystal Reports Client (10 mins) to Crystal Server (25 to 30 mins), which means that it times out (our server is set to 20 min time-out)!
