I have a report that does not export to excel very well.  I am trying to get each field of the report to export to its own column.  Currently the report puts multiple piece of information into once column making manipulation of the data impossible to do in a timely manner.  I am currently using Crystal reports version 14.0.2.364

Make sure you have snap to grid enabled and ensure all your fields join edge to edge, are the same height and nothing overlaps.

This is an example of bad report layout for excel export;
|Heading1   |Heading2   |Heading3   |
|Field 1     |Field 2     |Field 3    |

Aim for something like this;

|Heading1 |Heading1 |Heading1|
|Field 1     |Field 2     |Field 3    |

Hope that helps,
Ryan.

My fields already are aligned that way.  when I export to excel the first two fields get exported to the same column.
