Hello readers. I am developing reports for an inventory and accounts management system which supports both English and Urdu (Pakistani) language. The default language for reports is Urdu which should reflect the font on the fields which english lang is selected while viewing the reports.
My Question to you all is how i can determine whether the field showing data contains urdu or english language because over this i will change the font to make it appear more native.

yeah, I was thinking of looking at ascii values, or unicode (i'm more familiar with ascii, but i know to accomodate all languages unicode was developed)
