i designed a report to print the bills/invoices for my client. client's bills paper size is LETTER size (8.5" X 11"). i desinged the report in LETTER size paper. the report is basically printing the invoice details in their preprinted paper with letterpad details. i am tested it in TVS MSP 445xl Classic printer. but when client is printing it with Epson lq 590 printer, details are not printed with in the boxes already printed in the paper, like invoice no, invoice date, total amount , etc....
is there any problem with "No. of Columns" of printers... VS MSP 445xl Classic printer - 80 Columns printer
Epson lq 590 - 136 Columns printer.

I would think that it is more a matter of font and sizing that the printer is using. If they are both using Times Courier, one would think they would all be the same.
I really don't much experience with this...been more than a decade since I worried about dot matrix printers.
