Has anyone had experience adding new reports to this software?  It ships with a bundle of Crystal reports already included.  The included reports are rather "techie" to use my Client's description.  The documentation provided with the software says if you want to add your own reports to the package you have to buy your own CR lincense but doesn't go into any howto detail.
What I'm seeing is the software searches for any "rpt" files in the app folder and when it detects one that isn't already in the package, it reads the report definition and figures out what options a user may want to run the report.  It adds the report to the report menu and changes everything in the report definition to fit it's own perception of what the report should be, including the data source.
My problem with all this is that the software picks up on most, but not all of the formulas in the new report and adds them to the report menu options (even if they are static complex calculations or algorithims) but doesn't pick up on any parameters in the report.  I sure don't want some user replacing my formulas with some text string and I find it difficult to do anything without parameters.

Would be wonderful if someone else has already resolved this!
