Quote Barb Replybullet Topic: Missing transactions from control accounts

Hi All

I have an account listing report which shows all transactions types posted to specific accounts for specific period. If I choose to include any of my control accounts, for example Trade Creditor account the report excludes all purchasing and sales documents and just shows journal entries, payments and receipts. All accounts apart from control accounts show all transactions.

It looks to me as if control accounts only look at Journal entry table not at purchasing and sales tables. As I restrict the journal entry table (d.TransType not in (13,14,18,19)) not to pick up purchasing and sales documents (and credit notes) from journal entry table to avoid duplications) these are not showing for control accounts.

Any idea why control accounts look only at Journal entry tables? How should I tell it to include these transactions for all control accounts?

many thanks

To avoid duplicates all you need do is to go to the format field tool and check the box "Suppress If Duplicated". If you want the report to look at the fields you don't want included in the report just add them and again go to the format field tool and check the "Suppress" box and they won't print.

It does not work, if I select my reference field and got to format field tool and tick the @supres if duplicated'' nothing happens.

Is there any other way to say that for some accounts do not show transactions with transaction type 13 and 14?
Many thanks

crystal solution would be
in select expert write
for some accounts
(if account ="account name" then
{table.TransType} <> [13,14,18,19] else
if account ="some other account name" then
{table.TransType} <> [13,14,18,19] else .....)

as for for all accounts
{table.TransType} <> [13,14,18,19]
