how to display record numbers in crystal reports 11 ?
current data
item_cd qty shipped

UIO89 90
desired layout
num item_cd QTY-shipped

in the Field Explorer in Special Fields there is "Record Number"
you can drag and drop it on the report detail section.
if you are suppressing things then you would need to use a Running Total or shared variable formula.
