suppression is a bit backwards, what you want to do is to craft a statement that returns TRUE when you want to HIDE the data. Always seems a bit backwards.
If you are looking to hide entries where certain columns are all zero, then you logic would be a set of AND conditions. What might be happening is that there may be NULLS in the data and not zero, which might be causing the formula to return an incorrect value.
ISNULL({table.field}) is a way to check this. From DBlank, always check for NULLS first then for an actual value, like:
isnull({table.field}) or {table.field} = 7
