For Days I have been trying to get my VB.net client app which generates a Crystal report to work on a MS Server 2008 machine....
I just saw the following post somewhere on a Google search...
I had the same problem on Windows Server 2008 Standard. We needed to add the Crystal executable to the allowed list in Data Execution Prevention.
System > Advanced system settings > Performance (settings) > DEP tab.
No problems after that.
What is the name of the Crystal executable and where does it live ?
