hai friends,
my requirement is i want to create a normal crystal report, but it is only possible by CrossTab.

my datatable having the values

employee code
allowance type
amount

i wish to design a report looks like the following but with out using crosstab.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EmpCode   Allowance1   Allowance2   Allowance3   ................................Total
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

is it possible to create this type of report without CrossTab, because the allowance columns are not limited. user can create any allowance, whenever he/she needs to add new .....

please help me....

i am using C#.Net 2005 and Oracle 9i db.
