Hello everyone,

I got a problem of writing formula for the clamp page footer. Can anyone let me know how to write a formula to clamp page footer only in page 1 but not in other pages.
I tried 2 formulae:

1) if pagenumber=1 then true else false
and
2) pagenumber=1

But throwing an error saying "a constant expression required" for the pagenumber.

FYI i'm using Crystal reports 2008

you could create your own page counter...
place in report header
shared numbervar pCount := 0;
""  //hide the formula output

in page header:
shared numbervar pCount := pCount + 1;
""

in page footer suppression formula
shared numbervar pCount;
pCount <> 1

HTH

ps Looking at the CR Help, it looks like your syntax is correct, so the above is a work around.
