Hi

I've come across a problem generating a report on an Access database:-

When the two same whole numbers are deleted from each other Crystal doesn't think that it is 0

I have checked the database tables and only whole numbers are dispalyed.

I have tried displaying 10 decimal places 0.0000000000 and it still thinks it isn't zero

The only way to resolve is to round to 0 decimals round({field},0)

Why doesn't Crystal think 10 - 10 = 0

did you check what CR sees or what Access sees?

If you know that the values are whole numbers, you can use FIX(), which will truncate the decimal part of the number.

I realize that it is an extra step, but it would appear that CR doesn't see the values as whole numbers, but as fractional, and as such isn't equating them.
