Is there a way at printing that a popup asking for input can be used?  We have an employee roster that we use and manually fill in what the roster is for.  Not sure if this an option.

Thanks

Do you have an example of what kind of input you will be asking for, and what should be printed based on what the user provides?

Thanks for the quick response.  The info is rather simple (Literature handouts). Just a brief description on the reason for the roster.  And would want that info to print below the title of the roster.

You would create a string parameter and drag it onto the report. If successful, when you preview (or hit refresh), you'll be asked to type in something.

I have messed with this a bit.  It seems I must choose a value field? Not sure what table field I would be selecting since this is not in the table.  Can you assist further

I don't think it is necessary to specify any values.
A very simple parameter would be one that has a prompt title (ie: please type something) and a custom value field.

Just make sure that your parameter allows Custom values (options at the bottom) and that you are creating a static parameter.
